Impact

The danger of falling rock and other objects is ever-present throughout the entire mining industry.  Although hand PPE should be the last line of defense against this hazard, HexArmor® still took particular care to equip our gloves with the safest impact resistance systems.  Our proprietary IR-X® Impact Exoskeleton™ covers the entire back of hand, the including the knuckles and fingers, where many competing protective gloves fail to provide coverage.

Super Fabric® Cut/Abrasion

It comes as no surprise that lacerations are the most common hand injury among all mining employees.  Rough or sharp edges at the worksite are prevalent and difficult to avoid.  Additionally, with the consistent use of hand tools comes the danger of abrasion and abrasive injuries as well.  SuperFabric® brand materials provide the highest level of cut-resistance available in the market, and TP-X® technologies, developed by HexArmor®, offer additional grip and abrasion resistance.  These features are what make HexArmor® gloves the safest and most reliable in the industry today.

Dexterity

Far too often safety is traded out for dexterity, and workers frequently remove hand PPE to accomplish a challenging task.  HexArmor® is proud to offer the dexterity needed to complete these jobs without sacrificing our standards of safety.  Our proprietary technologies have been engineered to allow the highest range of motion, so mine workers can tackle any job while keeping their hands safe.
